Viketuno Sanyü, creative entrepreneur and founder of Yours Craftfully, Paperie by V, and co-founder of Bies&Co, won the "Creative Entrepreneur of the Year" at the "Woman Leaders Forum 2024" held at Radisson Blu Dwarka, New Delhi on September 28.

Zeme Baptist Church Kohima (ZBCK) organised a one-day seminar under the theme “Spiritual Father” at the church premises, Midland Kohima on September 28.

The construction industry in Nagaland has evolved significantly over the past decade, with more local workers now entering the field, which was once dominated by migrant labor. T. Chubayanger, Deputy Labour Commissioner and CEO of the Nagaland Building and Other Construction Workers’ Welfare Board (NBOCWWB), highlighted that ten years ago, local participation in construction was nearly absent. Today, however, locals are emerging in the sector, though there is still a critical need for proper training and skill development.

Various educational institutions organised several programmes and activities for the students and faculty as part of their co-curricular programme.

Assam Rifles, in its continued effort to support and uplift local communities, carried out various activities across the state. To promote cleanliness and hygiene, Assam Rifles in collaboration with the Kohima Municipal Corporation (KMC) conducted a cleanliness drive under the national campaign Swachhata Hi Seva in the D Block area and the Government Primary School, Kohima, on September 28.
