Free career guidance talk in Chumoukedima on Feb 1

NITI Nagaland will be organising a Free Career Guidance Talk on February 1 at CTC Conference Hall, Ward-6, near local playground at 2 pm. Students from Class IX to Class XII, besides repeaters of NEET & JEE exams are invited with their parents & guardians, STEM teachers, public leaders, NGOs etc. to interact with the resource persons regarding STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) careers with a focus on computers, medical, engineering & cyber security.

Konyak Heritage Village to be inaugurated on April 5

Konyak Heritage Complex will be inaugurated on April 5, coinciding with Aoleang Festival of the Konyak tribe. This was decided during a review meeting of the ongoing Konyak Heritage Complex project at Mon held at the Chief Minister’s residence office on January 25.

Lotha Language Day tobe observed on May 1

The Lotha Academy has decided to observe May 1st as Lotha Language Day that aims to celebrate the richness and beauty of Lotha language. A press release issued by president of Lotha Academy, Fr. Abraham Lotha informed that evaluating the overwhelming response to the Lotha Language Feast held on May 4, 2024 in Wokha, which was attended by more than a thousand people, the Academy officials saw the potential and positive impact such celebrations have on the people.

DoSE informs heads of institutions

Department of School Education (DoSE) has notified all heads of institutions under NBSE that the sample front page (cover) of answer booklet for HSLC and HSSLC exams had been uploaded in the board’s portal nbsenl.edu.in Therefore, the department has asked schools to download the sample and train candidates who would be appearing HSLC/HSSLC exams 2025.

NNC/FGN affirms to uphold 1951 plebiscite

NNC/FGN led by president Thupuswuyi Keyho and FGN kedahge ‘gen.’ (Retd)’ TM Rhakho has affirmed that as the “mandated government” it would uphold the plebiscite of May 16, 1951, which it maintained substantiated the “Naga Independence declaration on 14th August 1947.”
