DIMAPUR

The third interface meeting between the Ao Baptist Arogo Mungdang (ABAM), Mokokchung Aor Officers’ Telungjem (MAOT), and Ao Senden was held on October 16 at Impur, Mokokchung, yielding significant outcomes aimed at long-term community development.
Describing the meeting as “exceptionally productive,” ABAM executive secretary Rev. Temsü Jamir informed that several key proposals will be tabled at the forthcoming ABAM executive meeting. These include a district-wide survey on depopulation, designed to identify root causes through targeted questionnaires and recommend effective countermeasures.
Rev. Jamir also highlighted plans for the revival of Impur Christian Hospital, which would require a change in ownership and strategic resource mobilization to restore quality healthcare access for the public.
Further, the meeting proposed transforming the Impur museum into a dynamic educational space to inspire future generations.
The initiative will involve procedural upgrades to reposition the museum as a hub of learning and cultural enrichment.
