The Nagaland Foothills Road Coordination Committee (NFHRCC) conducted a joint inspection of the ongoing Foothills Road construction in Longleng division on June 2, 2025.
According to the NFHRCC media cell, the inspection team included representatives from NPWD (Roads & Bridges), the contractor firm M/S A. Pongshi Phom & Sons, and local Village Council members.
The committee informed that the single-lane maintenance work on the Foothills Road stretch is being carried out at a cost of Rs. 1,46,31,280. NFHRCC confirmed that the work has been executed satisfactorily, in line with the Detailed Project Report (DPR) prepared by the concerned department.
Led by team leader B. Tushah Phom and four executive members, the NFHRCC reaffirmed its commitment to ensuring a reliable road network for the people of Nagaland.
