Nagaland University, Students’ Union (NUSU), Meriema campus organised the 18th Zona Fest under the theme, “Encompassing diversity and inclusivity” at the RCEMPA, Jostoma on Tuesday.
Addressing the event, Dr Tseilhoutuo Rhütso, MLA said that the youth needed to understand the value of their duty and encouraged them work hard with dedication and determination as it would help them achieve their goals.
Speaking on his experiences on the recent State election, Dr Rhütso reminded the youths that they had a major role in the election scenario where they can elect the right leader to take the state forward.
He also encouraged the students to try and gain knowledge including skill development as it would make them employable instead of searching for government job.
Master of the ceremony was Lituna Jakha while Literary and Magazine Secretary, NUSU-KC, Kevilenuo Miachieo delivered the welcome address.
On the second day on April 19, a cultural show will be conducted with MLA, 50 A/C, Longleng, A. Pongshi Phom as guest of honour.
