Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted heavy rainfall over the North Eastern region during the next five days.

A tree plantation campaign was conducted at the New DC office Wokha site on August 31. The drive was held as a part of the nationwide initiative launched by the Prime Minister, “Ek Ped Ma Ke Nam,” which aims to contribute to environmental sustainability. A total of 300 tree saplings were planted during the drive.

A four days off-campus collaborative training program on “Institutionalizing Gender Mainstreaming through ATMA” was conducted from August 20 to 23 at SAMETI, Medziphema, Nagaland, jointly organized by National Institute of Agricultural Extension Management (MANAGE) and State Agricultural Management and Extension Training Institute (SAMETI) Nagaland.
